In line with the 2018 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) recommendations for storing sensitive data, safeguards are in place toensure that your data is secure, private and confidential. Everything you tell me is confidential, however, sometimes, to help me to help you better, I may discuss you (omitting identifiable information) with my clinical supervisor. My supervisor is bound by the same ethical guidelines regarding confidentiality as I am. I will not disclose your details to a third party without your prior agreement/consent, except under the following circumstances:
a) You indicate that you are at risk of hurting yourself.
b) You indicate that you present a risk of harm to others.
c) You indicate that someone else is at risk of harm to, or from someone else.
d) Disclosures where it is indicated that serious harm may befall a child.
e) Disclosures that leave me liable to criminal court procedure if not disclosed (e.g. threats of terrorism).
In the event that I need to disclose information to a third party, I will always try to discuss this with you beforehand.
To use the service you will need to share your name and email address with me and potentially PayPal. Your name and email address will normally be stored for one year after your contact with me. However, you may request that your data is deleted before this by emailing me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
